When I first moved to California, I stayed in a hotel in Emeryville overlooking the bay. The water stretched farther than anything I had ever known. Light rested on the surface in long sheets of silver.

I was wearing a raspberry body splash I’d packed from home. When my mom picked me up from the airport, she handed me a cup of frozen yogurt before we even left the parking lot. Later that night I stood by the open window of the hotel room, the bay air moving through the curtains.

Raspberry and sugar still clung to my skin.
Salt drifted in from the water.
Citrus from the trees below rose with the evening air.

That memory became Hotel California.

The fragrance opens with bergamot, satsuma mandarin, and pink pepper, bright as coastal sunlight. At its center, plum blossom, red dahlia, and raspberry sorbet echo the sweetness of that first night in the city. Cedarwood and Dreamwood settle in at the base—warm, airy, and quietly expansive, like the view of the bay from a hotel window when everything in your life is just beginning.

Massage a small amount of perfume oil on your wrists and neck. Ensure the oil is fully absorbed prior to fabrics coming in contact with skin.
